African Night Crawler Compost Worms
African Night Crawler (Eudrilus eugeniae) are also known as the giant night crawler. They are larger than both the Red wigglers and the European Night crawlers. But they still do not match the size of the Canadian Night crawlers. Some fishermen prefer them due to their larger size. These worms seem to have a blueish sheen to them when light hits their skin.
These worms are tropical composting worms. They are not very tolerant to cold temperatures. Therefore they should be kept inside in colder locations. They are voracious eaters and produce fine castings
